Lightweight and practical backpack
With a simplified design and lighter materials comes the EDC Lite backpack. Designed for the commute to work, school, or university – there's always something to carry. This backpack combines the functionality of tactical backpacks with the comfort everyone needs. The EDC Lite version replaces 500D Cordura with Rip-Stop nylon, and instead of MOLLE/PALS compatible webbing, it features elastic side pockets.
Simplified solutions and reduced weight
Like the standard version, the front of the backpack features a large hook & loop panel and an elastic shock cord, making it easy to carry a jacket or sweatshirt without taking up space inside. Replacing the MOLLE/PALS webbing with two elastic side pockets results in a lighter construction that looks much less like a tactical backpack. The permanently sewn side pockets are a convenient solution available right after purchase – no need for buying and attaching additional pockets. Both compartments of the backpack are zippered, and there are also compression straps on the sides to adjust the backpack's size according to its filling, keeping loose contents in place and preventing them from shifting. If the main compartment's zipper is damaged, the compression straps will protect the contents from falling out.
Not just tactical gear
The interior of the EDC backpack is designed for versatile use. The front compartment is lined with velour, allowing for the use of our inserts from the VIS (Versatile Insert System) series, such as a pencil case, pen organizer, document pocket, etc. The second compartment is slightly more spacious and features a separate compartment for a hydration bladder on the backside – a convenient solution for a weekend trip or a long walk in the forest. Comfortable straps and spacer mesh increase comfort and improve ventilation. The EDC Lite is an even simpler and lighter solution that performs well on many fronts.
