Glued seams provide additional protection for zippers against rain.
They effectively block water without compromising the smoothness of the zippers. The convenient two-way YKK® main zipper and Prym snap fastener keep the jacket watertight and allow for easy adjustment while moving around in the field.
The outer layer is protected by a water-repellent DWR coating
Durable water repellency increases the fabric's resistance to dirt, reduces saturation, and slows down moisture penetration. It is also free of harmful perfluorocarbons (PFCs). This makes the product easier to care for and helps it maintain its properties over time. However, the coating loses its properties over time, so it is important to renew it regularly with the appropriate impregnating agent.
