Lightweight membrane jacket
The Chinook is designed for those operating in the field, camouflage enthusiasts, and anyone seeking simple yet effective rain protection. The jacket features four pockets: two hand pockets and two shoulder pockets, each with a hook-and-loop panel for identification. With adjustable elements at the waist and hood edge, you can easily tailor the fit to your body.
The 2.5-layer laminate consists of an outer layer and a membrane containing micropores. Their size prevents water from penetrating the jacket, while still allowing moisture generated by the body to escape. The protective print layer eliminates the need for a lining, making the Chinook a lightweight membrane jacket perfect for duty, outdoor activities, and the shooting range.
Key parameters
In a rain jacket, the key parameter is waterproofness – in the Chinook, it reaches 20,000 mm. The jacket has taped seams, and all zippers are covered with flaps to enhance sealing. Chinook also ensures excellent breathability – the vapor permeability of the membrane is 20,000 g/m²/24h. You can also regulate ventilation through underarm zippers and hook-and-loop adjustable cuffs.
The main zipper is two-way and secured at the bottom with a Prym snap. The Chinook jacket is coated with a PFC-free Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish. Thanks to its laminated construction, the jacket is compact when packed, and a transport bag is included.
