Windpack Nylon protects against wind
Lightweight, fast-drying fabric that shields against the chilling effect of wind. As a result, it improves comfort, for example, during stops or when movement intensity is lower.
Compact construction that fits even into a cargo pocket
Thanks to their low weight and compact size, the pants can be packed into their own pocket. This is a self-pack system – the pocket turns inside out and becomes a pouch.
Packed this way, the pants easily fit into a backpack, waist pack, or even a cargo pocket.
An additional layer you can quickly put on over regular pants
We designed the Windrunner Pants as an emergency layer to be worn over standard pants. They are equipped with pass-through openings that allow access to the pockets of the pants worn underneath.
The waistband is adjusted with a shock cord, allowing you to tailor the fit to your body shape and layering. Zippered legs with double sliders make it easy to put the pants on without removing footwear.
The outer layer is protected by a hydrophobic coating
It increases resistance to dirt and moisture penetration. As a result, the product is easier to care for and retains its properties longer, even with intensive use.

Zippered legs
Double sliders running the full length of the legs speed up putting on and taking off the pants, while also improving ventilation during movement.

Windrunner are compact emergency pants used as an additional wind-protective layer
They work well as a light, packable windproof layer that you put on when conditions start to worsen. Combined with Windrunner or Tramontane jackets, they form a cohesive set that protects against wind and light precipitation without unnecessary bulk.
