The Scout Mk2 Fire Starter is a set that includes a ferrocerium rod, striker, cotton tinder, and solid fuel. To generate sparks that can reach temperatures of up to 3000°C, simply scrape the ferrocerium rod vigorously against the striker's sharp edge. This makes it easy to start a fire for a camping stove or campfire, even in adverse weather conditions.
